Episode 3 – Reveling in Apostasy!

So here it is, our third episode of Witnesses for Atheism. In this episode we have a special guest, our close friend George West, giving us his story and his current struggle with the witnesses. We touch on what apostasy means for the JW’s, discuss a Watchtower article on apostasy and our segment “Holy Shit that’s in the Bible!?” is back.  During the show, we talked about a letter George recently received from his elders and we wanted to share it with you as well, it is shown below.  Hope you enjoy our third show!

The opening and closing song is “Serious Killer” from Kismet and their album titled “Phazer.”

Are they serious? Circle Yes or No? What is this the second grade?

    Is this a standardletter?

Some of us wrote to the Society asking them to acknowledge our baptism as minors as invalid. We all got the exact same reply, only with difference in adresse, name and date.

I suspect they have begun using standardletters in order to prevent the elders to formulate letters themselves. If so, this is Society-made and not a sole intiative made by the local body of elders.

Perhaps if others have recieved a letter like this would make it known so we can get this suspicion confirmed?

It appears to be a letter printed by a brother from George’s kingdom hall. Although it could be standard because the elder did need to write in “by Sunday” at the bottom. If he printed it up himself one would assume that he would have added it to the letter.

The letter is very vaque in regard to the reciever. The text is one, that could concern anyone in JW, which is the main reason I suspect this is a standard-letter.

Another letter with the same writing is needed for confirmation.
